Problem-solution is one of the most effective formats for advertising. The approach places product demonstrations in strategic contexts.
In this Maple Leaf Bacon commercial we see what I call “second level problem-solution.”
This homemaker is vexed by all the little things that don’t get done and should
be shared. And, bacon can be annoying to prepare. There is all that extra fat
to deal with.
The solution to one problem becomes the solution to another.
The power of “second level problem solution” is double strong.
